Dearest friends and family,

We can’t wait to see all of you on May 16th! Just a couple of quick notes as the Big Day™ approaches:

Ceremony and Reception Timing

The ceremony is at 2:00 pm at the Middlebury Congregational Church ending with a receiving line and then the reception at 5:00 pm at Highfield. Everyone is on their own to get from the hotel to the church. While there is ample parking at the church and in the nearby area, please feel free to carpool. Carpooling will make the hotel-ceremony-hotel loop easy for everyone.

Shuttle Services Between the Hotel and the Reception

We’re running shuttles from the hotel to the reception at The Highfield Club. The two shuttles leave the hotel at 4:30 pm to bring guests to the club in time for the cocktail hour. There will be runs back to the hotel starting around 9:00 pm. You are more than welcome to drive yourself if you prefer and will not be drinking.

The Tent and Footwear

While there is a dance floor, the tent itself will be on grass so stiletto heels may not work very well as the night wears on (especially if the Connecticut weather winds up being a bit damp in May).

Sunday Breakfast

There are no formal Sunday breakfast plans - we’re staying at the Marriott and we’ll be having breakfast at the restaurant when we (eventually) wake up. Please feel free to join us if you’re able to do so; otherwise - safe travels!
